Welcome to The Big Green Plant Centre

We are a wholesale plant nursery, based near Uxbridge and serving trade professionals throughout London and the South East.

We supply to all aspects of the horticultural trade, landscape and amenity sectors, including garden designers, landscape contractors, landscape architects, schools, local authorities, professional gardeners and project developers.

We can supply over 4,000 plants from 400 nurseries through the On Line Plant Market – all your plant needs in one place, delivered twice a week to site or our nursery.  We also stock hedging, amenity plants and specimen stock on site.

We are green in nature as well as in name with our own native hedging, recycled materials use and self-sufficient heat generation.

Our 3-acre site in Denham is conveniently placed for access to London, the M40, M25 and M4

Although they gained popularity as shading for pathways in the 18th century, did you know that the use of pleached trees can be traced as far back as Roman times when it is thought they used them as a defence against attacking cavalries?!

Pleached trees are becoming an increasingly popular and stylish choice in landscape and garden designs, particularly for high level, and maintenance low, screening. A great choice for a smaller garden, they can also be used to create arches or tunnels. We currently stock them in rootball variety for ideal planting at this time of year. The variety to choose from is immense, from copper beech for a blast of autumn colour, to pleached fruit trees with wonderful blossom in the Spring.
